The exhibition examines conflicted fairy tale worlds offering the viewer hope and transformation. From displaced angels, caged songbirds, ravaged princesses, wandering faeries, soaring phoenixes and magical muses — the work is both inspiring and prophetic. The show seeks to redefine the concept of the fable for our modern times; haunting, fragile and desperately in need of appreciation and pause.  The work begs the viewer to question their ideas of what enchantment looks like today.  Can it exist in a pure state?  What does an angel look like in our complex world?  This show brings together a diverse group of artists, who individually and in very different modalities have worked to address this very poignant question.
