Joseph Joseph, Love Love You You
Mar 5th, 2011 | By Lulu del Rosario | Category: Cool Factors, HomeI first saw products from Joseph Joseph when Kaye and I spent an afternoon strolling along Main Street in Los Gatos a few weeks ago. We stepped inside a Sur La Table store and right there in one of the baskets by the entry was a cool looking gizmo that caught my attention. The Chop 2 Pot™ Plus was calling my name. It came in happy CMYKs ~ and I’m attracted to things that are brightly colored.
I checked the brand and manufacturer since it was a new one (from my point of view). I remember wondering at the time “how long had I stayed away from culinary wonderlands like Sur La Table when the heck was the last time I went shopping in a playspace like this?” Surely, it hadn’t been that long! Nevertheless, I looked around to see what else this cool company had in their product line.
And then I wished I could re-do my cucina.
These utensils (about $8.00 each)? They’re so bright and happy! They make me want to cook! They’re modern looking, very click and chic. They’re actually quite comfortable, the handles are weighted and rest with the head up and not touching the stove top. Are there still things that haven’t been invented yet? Where was this gorgeous thing when I was slaving away cooking for a big family?

Okay, I’m gonna say it. They’re good looking. I’m talking about their products! ::grin::
Help! I’m drooling here! SERIOUSLY want something in every color so my kitchen is HAPPY and BRIGHT!
You can check all the fun and colorful products right HERE . I’ve seen some products at Sur La Table, but not all of these; they’re available online, though. Check out the press and attention they’ve been getting. Lots. I’m not surprised. I’m only wondering why I hadn’t found them sooner!
Sigh. Drool. LIKE. LIKE.
