The Rosewood Sand Hill is located off a lovely drive on Highway 280 in Menlo Park.  If you come here and check yourself in on Facebook Places, you’ll quickly notice one thing.  There are about a dozen venture capital companies in close proximity.  From that, I surmised that this property is a default location  for brilliant minds to ‘get away from the grind’.  And why not, it’s tranquil here,

It was a getaway I was looking forward to. At the very heart of me, I’m a mountain girl and beach bum at heart, the Gemini factor. When a mountain or a beach visit is in my future, my heart is eager and I count the days. It wasn’t any different as we looked forward to a couple days in the lovely resort town of Mammoth Lakes

I fell in love with the town of Healdsburg about a year ago when I visited with my sister. At the time, she was there on a business trip and I tagged along and enjoyed discovering the rather hip (sometimes hippie) and trendy town with music at the plaza on Summer Tuesdays.

I don’t really know how to begin describing our experience at this spectacularly amazing destination that my husband and I visited a couple of weeks ago. I had read about it , saw a few videos online and looked at a few reviews. It was highly recommended by some of our readers
