Guided Bike and Vineyard Tour At Cornerstone Cellars

Cornerstone Cellars is proud to announce their first ever vineyard tour on Saturday, July 23rd 2011! It will be conducted as a bicycling tour, allowing for a leisurely trip from Carneros to Yountville. It includes 4 vineyard sites from the Stepping Stone collection. Guests will be able to see their Riesling, Syrah Rose’, Cabernet Franc, and Syrah vineyards. They will also be stopping at each site to explain why they have chosen these vineyards, how the local …climate influences the vines, some of the viticulture practices, and to answer any questions guests may have.

The chosen route will take cyclists from Carneros to Yountville with stops every few miles. The guide is a Cornerstone employee who has intimate knowledge of the vineyards, wine making practices, and the Napa Valley in general. Head up to the tasting room after the tour to have a Bouchon Lunch and culminate the afternoon with a tasting of the wines from the vineyards. When everything is all said and done, attendees should have a few more hours to ride their bikes around Yountville and the surrounding area.

This is an all inclusive tour at $100. Package includes a bicycle, lunch, tour, and tasting. The group will leave at 8:00 AM sharp from Cornerstone Cellars tasting room at 6505 Washington St. in Yountville, CA. Attendees will be driven down to the first vineyard site and make their way north on bicycle to Yountville.
